NBSS 5N1 (1995)
ANNUAL DINNER 1998
This year’s annual dinner was held at a Chinese restaurant at Suntec city.
The turn out of the dinner was good. This year’s annual dinner was co-organized by Bei Bei and Weiliang. "Seeing their familiar faces makes me feel like going back in time", said Weiliang with his ‘new’ hairstyle.
XIANHUA’S NEW HOME
Well Xianhua has a new nest this August. He just moved to his new 3-room flat in Yishun. He had a little house warming on National day holiday.
" I finally got my own room", said Xianhua excitingly.
FANTASIA IV 98
The school band had put up its fourth night concert on 15 of August after a break of 3 years. The audience was overwhelming and the music pieces played by the band were excellent!
Our alumnus Ivan, a French horn player, was that night’s alumni player.
THE NEW PRINCIPAL OF NBSS
With affect January this year, Mdm Chan is the new principal of NBSS. She is also an alumni. A very warm welcome to Mdm Chan to the NBSS family. Now Mr Lim is in Bishan Park Secondary school.
All the best to Mr Lim and thank you for all the support that you have given us in 1995 in our projects.
SNIPPETS BY THE EDITOR
As I was walking down the corridor outside the general office on the band concert evening I come to notice this certificate (below) and I realized that the school had rewarded as one of the value-added schools in Singapore in the year 1996 in normal course. As a previously normal course graduate in 1995 I really feel proud of the school. The school has really achieved something in the past few years. I hope that NBSS will restore its fame just like the good old days.
